The Board of Directors is considering the creation of a new ad-hoc committee. The new committee will be tasked with developing an educational and informational document that will describe the processes used by the Association in evaluating and, when necessary, citing those residential landscaping issues that are in violation of the Associations CC&Rs. In addition, the committee would be tasked with also including describing what the options are for residents to respond back to the Association, once they've been sited for a landscaping violation.
The issue of what landscaping issues are cited as being in violation, and which are not, has long been an issue of misunderstanding and misconceptions among many of our residents. In an effort to minimize those concerns and in the process, better explain exactly what those processes are, the Board is considering tasking a small group of residents to be a part of the ad-hoc committee, and help develop an easy-to-understand, yet comprehensive, written guide that explains clearly what the criteria for residential landscaping being cited as being in violation actually are, as well as what the options are for how residents are able to respond, once violations are issued.
The Board is looking for individuals who have the time and the commitment to work in a committee-setting, with other like-minded residents, who are also willing to take on the task of developing the intended guide that the Board envisions as being the end-result of the committee's work.
If you are interested in being considered for an opportunity to serve on this ad-hoc committee, please let Ms. Betty Roth, our General Manager, know so, by calling her at the Clubhouse office. The Board is looking for a committee made up no more than five individuals, and that committee will report directly to the Board of Directors. For more information, please contact Ms. Roth at (951) 924-2249.
